Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive ESL program for Primary, Secondary, and Junior College students
  • Develop curriculum, assessment frameworks, and learning resources for ESL learners
  • Lead and manage the ESL teaching team
  • Ensure students receive strong support in academic English, including English for Science and English for Mathematics
  • Monitor student progress and implement effective language development strategies
  • Collaborate with school leaders and academic departments to support student transition into mainstream classes
  • Ensure the program maintains high academic standards consistent with the school’s international profile
  • Teach ESL classes as part of the role

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, English Education, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in ESL or English language education
  • Previous leadership or program development experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience teaching in international schools is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of academic English and language acquisition
  • Ability to design and lead an intensive language learning program
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Chinese language is preferred, as many students may come from Chinese-speaking backgrounds
