Gambaran
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for attending class as homeroom teacher and teaching English language and literature to junior-senior high school students
- Developing effective lesson plans, building students skills, evaluating student progress, managing students and classroom, and maintaining classroom discipline
Requirements:
- Age: preferably 25-42 years old
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related/relevant field
- Experience: The candidate should have at least two years of experience in teaching high school students (Grade 9-12) and teaching English as a second language. Experienced in teaching students from diverse backgrounds and abilities. Having teaching experiences and exploration using International curriculum/materials such as ACE/S.O.T, IGCSE, GAC is preferred
- Knowledge: The candidate should have a competent capability and understanding of English language and literature for speaking, listening, reading and writing as well as analysis of literature works. Must have a strong understanding of English language arts, including grammar, vocabulary, speech/presentation/public speaking, journals, academic reports and research, as well as English learning skills, tools and devices
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Must be able to create engaging lessons, manage classroom behavior effectively, effective teaching-learning process/methods, and assess student progress. Proficiency in technology, including the use of educational software such as G- Suite, multimedia tools and online learning platforms, is highly desirable
- Classroom Management: The candidate should have the ability to manage a classroom of high school students effectively, maintaining discipline and ensuring an environment conducive to learning
- Personal Qualities: A passion for education, a positive attitude and high integrity, a willingness to learn and grow, and a commitment to student success are essential
- Professionalism: The candidate should have a professional demeanor, with the ability to maintain good work ethics, work collaboratively with colleagues, actively participate in professional development opportunities, and adhere to the school’s vision, mission and values
