Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead exciting, hands-on activities that help toddlers (2-3 years old) develop essential skills like fine motor coordination, language, and problem-solving
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment where toddlers feel loved, valued, and excited to learn each day
  • Encourage creativity and imagination through music, art, play, and sensory activities
  • Build strong relationships with parents, providing updates and insights on their child’s progress and milestones
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom, ensuring it’s a space for exploration and learning
  • Making lesson plans in accordance with our curriculum
  • Being a team leader, guiding your team with open communication and motivation
  • Foster positive social interactions among children and encourage independence, confidence, and teamwork
  • Collaborate with a supportive team of educators to ensure the best experience for our little learners

Requirements:

  • You have at least 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a preschool or daycare setting
  • You hold a degree (Associate’s or higher) in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Education, or a related field, or have equivalent experience
  • Fluent in English and good communication skills
  • You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with both children and parents
  • You are patient, creative, and love having fun while helping kids learn and grow
  • Is able to sing or play a musical instrument
  • You are willing to make detailed lesson plans and observation
  • Can travel to Kemang, South Jakarta
  • Willing to work on Saturday if needed

Bright Little Stars was founded 3 years ago right when the pandemic hit Jakarta. Our journey to providing quality lessons began when we started offering private lessons at our students place. We knew how important it was to keep our little ones engaged and busy whilst school and learning centers were shut down. Within the span of three months, all our available slots were booked out and we could only accomodate a handful of students to ensure health protocols.
