Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Marketing & Brand Positioning
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the school’s 5-year vision and enrolment targets
    • Conduct market and competitor analysis to refine positioning
    • Clearly articulate and communicate JNY’s Unique Selling Proposition (USP), particularly in:
      • Chinese language strength
      • Academic rigour
      • Technology integration
      • Character and values education
      • Strengthen and maintain a consistent, premium brand identity across all channels
  • Enrolment Growth & Admissions Support
    • Work closely with Admissions to design data-driven recruitment funnels
    • Develop targeted campaigns for Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary divisions
    • Support retention messaging and parent engagement strategies
    • Track conversion metrics and optimise marketing ROI
  • Digital & Performance Marketing
    • Lead digital marketing initiatives including:
      • Social media strategy
      • Website optimisation
      • SEO/SEM campaigns
      • Email marketing automation
      • CRM integration
      • Analyse campaign performance and generate actionable insights
  • Content & Communications
    • Oversee production of high-quality marketing materials (prospectuses, brochures, videos, digital assets)
    • Lead storytelling that highlights student success, academic achievements, and community impact
    • Support Mandarin-language communications to engage Chinese-speaking families
  • Events & Community Engagement
    • Plan and manage open houses, education fairs, and school events
    • Develop parent ambassador and alumni engagement initiatives
    • Strengthen partnerships within the BSD and greater Jakarta community

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous)
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential
  • Minimum 5 years’ marketing experience, preferably in:
    • International education
    • Premium service industries
    • Brand-driven organisations
    • Proven track record of delivering measurable growth outcomes
    • Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, analytics tools and CRM systems
    • Excellent copywriting and storytelling ability
    • Strategic mindset with strong execution capability
    • High level of professionalism and cultural sensitivity
