Tentang Mentari Intercultural School
Mentari Intercultural School Jakarta (MISJ) is located in the south of Indonesia’s capital city of Jakarta. MISJ is one of four schools under the umbrella of Yayasan Perkembangan Anak Indonesia (The Indonesian Foundation for Children's Development). Mentari Intercultural School Jakarta runs a program for Grades 1 – 12 and has a population of over 1,100 students with 553 students enrolled in the Junior and Senior High Schools. MISJ Junior High School opened in 2005 with 24 students and graduated the first batch of Junior High School students in 2009. In 2015, the Senior High School was opened and the first batch of High School students graduated in June 2017.
Yayasan Perkembangan Anak Indonesia is made up of five women with the vision of providing high quality, international education for Indonesian children that will not only give the academic preparation needed for higher learning, but also equip them with the skills and attitudes needed to be responsible and socially conscious members of society.
