Responsibilities:

  • To inspire scientific inquiry and critical thinking through a hands-on, lab-based approach that aligns international standards with a world-view of discovery
  • Inquiry-Based Learning: Design and implement laboratory experiments and projects that follow the scientific method and international frameworks (Pearson Edexcel, Cambridge IGCSE or IBDP)
  • Lab Management
  • STEM Integration
  • Conceptual Teaching
  • Values Integration

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, or Biology)/Education and a teaching certification
  • Proven track record of preparing students for international exams (e.g., Pearson Edexcel, Cambridge IGCSE or IBDP)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching international science curricula
  • Strong English communication skills for explaining technical concepts
  • Ability to make abstract concepts accessible and engaging for a diverse classroom

  • Will be placed in Al Azhar Syifa Budi Jatibening Branch (JHS)
