Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons for Primary students in alignment with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum
  • Develop lesson plans, learning activities, and assessments that foster strong foundational numeracy and problem-solving skills
  • Utilize Apple technology and digital tools effectively to enhance teaching and learning
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear feedback and academic support
  • Create a nurturing, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that supports student growth
  • Collaborate with academic teams to maintain high standards and support school initiatives
  • Participate in school events, meetings, professional development, and parent engagement activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Primary Mathematics
  • Experience teaching within the Cambridge Primary Curriculum is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of child development and effective Primary teaching methodologies
  • Competent in integrating technology in the classroom; experience in an Apple Distinguished School environment is an advantage
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Education, Mathematics Education, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about supporting young learners and committed to continuous professional growth

Historically, Bina Bangsa School was founded in 2001, intending to fulfil the aspirations of families who wished to give their children a national education with a global outlook. Henceforth, BBS came into existence – with an internationally recognised Cambridge programme - IGCSE and ‘A’ Levels Curricular.
