Responsibilities:

  • University & Study Program License:
    • Coordinate the completeness and validity period related to operational license of BINUS @Campus
    • Coordinate the license extension process for all study programs
    • Review EPSBED report making to be sent to Government / Kopertis
    • Remain abreast of trends and government regulation in education, particularly those affecting University operation and educational leadership
    • Build and maintain relationship with internal and external parties related to education license
  • Accredication Activities:
    • Champion accreditation process (preparation, self-assessment, data collection, etc) – both national accreditation (BAN) and international accreditation (AACSB, ABET, etc)
    • Champion national and international ranking and rating processes (preparation, self-assessment, data collection, etc) – both national institutiions and international accreditation such as QS Star
    • Monitor and review accreditation period validity for all study programs
    • Coordinate accreditation extension process for all study programs
    • Build and maintain relationship with internal and external parties related to accreditation process
  • Monitoring & Evaluation Activities:
    • Analyze and report BINUS @Campus performance according to agreed standards and ensure that it’s aligned with assigned strategies
    • Propose changes for reporting systems in order to streamline procedures, improve productivity, and quality
    • Co-ordinate timely and accurate provision of performance data in relation to Key Performance Indicators
    • Ensure performance data is used to assess, review and monitor performance across the unit and identify areas for improvement
    • Co-ordinate and provide performance data for strategic and operational planning
    • Analyze and review effective systems to capture, store and analyse information and produce reports
    • Analyze detailed methodologies and tools and to ensure a good fit for monitoring performance indicators
    • Ensure the effectiveness of liaison between departments in relation to data collection, storage and performance management
    • Liaise and communicate between departments to ensure a good flow of accurate and timely information
    • Assist in reporting of the Monitoring & evaluation activities
  • Business Process & Standard Activities:
    • Coordinate overall documents and activities related to Quality Management System in BINUS @Campus
    • Conduct performance analysis by having statistic measurement and other analytical methods
    • Prepare analysis report that needed by management to review organization objectives according review meeting results
    • Coordinate and summarize complaint handling report (complaints from overall stakeholder: students, parents, lecturers and staffs)
    • Coordinate with all units in BINUS @Campus to ensure all processes have run according standard procedure
    • Identify business process in all units in BINUS @Campus and conduct business process analysis to maximize it
    • Review and suggest improvement to maximize the business process
    • Coordinate with all units to collect periodic report and prepare data and periodic report making
    • Verify poor performance and improve the process by having corrective actions and ensure corrective actions have been implemented by related units
    • Analyze customer satisfaction results
    • Ensure timely measurement/survey process implementation
    • Receive complaints from stakeholders and coordinate with related Units to solve the complaints
    • Conduct reoccurrence complaints analysis, analyze report and monitor follow up the process to end reoccurrence
  • Quality Assurance System:
    • Prepare, control, and coordinate implementation of quality assurance system documents in BINUS @Campus
    • Coordinate with related units in BINUS @Campus to fulfill the requirements of ISO 9000 or more update version
    • Prepare and Conduct Internal audit activities and management review meeting (schedule, supporting documents and implementation)
    • Monitor Internal Audit process implementation
    • Coordinate with other Units and Auditor to execute internal audit
    • Provide audit finding reports to management in BINUS @Campus to fulfill ISO 9000 requirements
    • Design quality system documents and forms (in Bahasa and English)
    • Design procedures and forms in standard format
    • Conduct Quality objectives measurement process
    • Respond, review, upload quality system documents that come from other Units
    • Ensure that all findings in Internal audit process has follow up actions
    • Ensure that reoccurrence audit findings will decrease in the next period
  • Management Support Activities:
    • In Coordination with Rector’s Office, analyze, synthesize and prepare PI and KPI for all units under BINUS @Campus and support for the finalization of the PIs and KPIs documents
    • In Coordination with Finance Division, analyze, synthesize and prepare annual budget for all units under BINUS @Campusand support for the finalization of the approved documents
    • On behalf of Campus Director, prepare routine reports to the Rector of Binus University and Yayasan Bina Nusantara
    • Provide Report to direct Supervisor
    • Monitor the overall documentation process in related area
    • Suggest improvement process related to activities in area of responsibilities (especially related to time concern, effort and cost)
    • Perform activities related to Quality Management System
    • Perform additional tasks as required by Direct Supervisor

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Management or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience
  • Strong knowledge on Education Operational Management
  • Have skills in Quality Assurance, Business Process & ISO
  • Willing to be placed in Medan

Along the way, Theresia Widia Soerjaningsih added a new touch to the BINA NUSANTARA institution. As a caring and affectionate leader, Dr. Ir. Th. Widia Soerjaningsih, MM. dedicated her entire life to the development of the education sector in Indonesia. Her touch was to add another ‘3K’ to Joseph Wibowo’s existing success strategy, thus forming the “6K Success Strategy”: The ‘6K’s’ are: Kesempatan (Opportunity), Keberanian (Courage), Keberuntungan (Good Fortune), Kemauan (Willingness), Kerja keras (Hard work), Kepercayaan kepada Tuhan (Belief in God).

The name BINA NUSANTARA was given by Rudy Poerwana. Literally the name means ‘Building the Archipelago’. This name holds the aspiration that this institution can build and develop the islands of Indonesia through education. That dream still lives on until to this very day.
