Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Biology lessons for IGCSE & AS/A Level in alignment with the Cambridge curriculum
  • Develop lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials that promote deep conceptual and scientific understanding
  • Facilitate laboratory activities, investigations, and practical experiments that reflect Cambridge standards
  • Utilize Apple technology and digital tools effectively to enhance teaching and learning
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and academic support
  • Create an engaging, inclusive, and safe learning atmosphere for all students
  • Collaborate with academic teams to maintain high instructional standards and support school initiatives
  • Participate in school events, departmental meetings, professional development, and parent-engagement activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Biology
  • Proven experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level Biology
  • Strong understanding of the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) standards
  • Competent in integrating technology in the classroom; experience in an Apple Distinguished School environment is an advantage
