Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum and Assessment Knowledge: Knowledge of various early childhood curriculum and assessment tools to support children’s learning and development
  • Understanding of Developmental Milestones: Strong knowledge of child development theories, early learning standards, and best practices in early childhood education
  • Communication: Exhibits exceptional proficiency in both spoken and written English, facilitating effective communication with staff, parents, and the community, while also ensuring clarity and coherence in administrative documents and reports
  • Empathy and Compassion: Ability to connect with children and families, fostering a supportive, and nurturing environment
  • Commitment to Professional Development: A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with trends and research in early childhood education
  • Effective Decision-Making: Strong problem-solving abilities and organizational skills to manage the daily operations of the school effectively
  • Diversity Awareness: An understanding of and respect for diverse cultures and backgrounds, promoting an inclusive environment for all families

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
  • Leadership Roles: Experience in administrative or leadership positions, such as principal, vice principal or lead teacher, to develop management skills
  • Teaching Experience: Several years of experience teaching in early childhood settings, demonstrating familiarity with child development and effective teaching practices
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Mandarin proficiency is a plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
