Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver interactive and age-appropriate music lessons, covering a range of genres and musical concepts
  • Assess and provide feedback on students’ progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing personalised support
  • Organise and lead school music events, performances, and extracurricular activities to showcase students’ talents
  • Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into the broader curriculum, promoting cross-disciplinary learning
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting creativity and musical exploration
  • Continuously develop your own teaching skills and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in music education

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a primary level
  • Excellent knowledge of music theory, performance techniques, and a wide range of musical genres
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
  • Creativity and a passion for inspiring students to explore and develop their musical talents
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to tailor lessons to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in music education
