Responsibilities:

  • Initiating open communication between Parents and teachers, especially for students that has some academic issue
  • Providing mental health and behavioral counseling to students by listening to students’ concerns regarding their social, academic, or personal problems and to provide professional support and guidance on how to deal with the problems
  • Mediating and improving relationships between students, parents, and teachers
  • Coordinating and facilitating groups for students, such as for improving social skills or addressing behavioral challenges
  • Recognizing and appropriately taking care of individual students’ socio-emotional challenges
  • Implementing a competitive school counseling program that promotes students’ success

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or any relevant background
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
  • Knowledge of multiple counseling approaches
  • Have a strong communication and presentation skills, adaptive, and a self-regulated learner
