Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted English language instruction to primary ELL students through small-group and in-class support
- Support students’ development in listening, speaking, reading, and writing within an age-appropriate context
- Collaborate closely with Primary classroom teachers to plan differentiated instruction and language support strategies
- Assess, monitor, and document students’ English language proficiency and learning progress
- Develop and implement individualized or small-group language support plans
- Communicate effectively with teachers and parents regarding student progress and language development
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive classroom environment
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, TESOL, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Teaching certification and/or TESOL/TEFL qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching ELL/ESL students at the Primary level
- Strong understanding of language acquisition in young learners
- Experience working in an international or multicultural school setting is an advantage
- Familiarity with inquiry-based or IB PYP frameworks is an asset
