Responsibilities:
- Attend to the well-being and holistic development of students
- Conduct engaging music lessons and co-curricular activities in alignment with the school’s curriculum
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning
- Prepare and develop music performance concepts for student showcases or events
- Train and mentor student music groups or ensembles in preparation for performances
- Proactively seek and coordinate opportunities for student performances, both within the school and in external platforms
- Participate in curriculum planning and reviews to enhance the music program
- Perform academic administrative duties as required
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Music or a related field
- A recognized teaching qualification from an accredited teacher-training institution
- At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Familiarity with or understanding of the Cambridge Curriculum
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Preferably experienced in leading or participating in orchestras or ensembles (e.g., choir, band)
- Proficiency in playing instruments such as the violin, piano, or other musical instruments is an advantage

The 1st campus of the Raffles Group of Schools – Raffles International Christian School, Pondok Indah was started in July 2005 and founded by the late Mr. William Soeryadjaya (A renowned entrepreneur in Indonesia and founder of the Astra Group) and Mr. Radius Prawiro (The former Minister of Finance of The Republic of Indonesia) in consultation with the Singapore Teacher’s Union.
In October 2010, Raffles International Christian School acquired the PSB Singapore Schools in Kebon Jeruk and Kelapa Gading to form the Raffles International Group of Schools. The then PSB Singapore Schools have a rich and extensive heritage which can be traced back to 1964 when it was established as the former Singapore Productivity and Standards Board by the Singapore Government. The educational foundation, Yayasan Pendidikan Sekolah Bhineka of which Raffles-PSB Singapore School was part of, was integrated into the Raffles International Group of Schools. In January 2015, Raffles International Christian School was renamed as Raffles Christian School in accordance with the government regulations.
The Raffles Group of Schools further acquired INTI College Indonesia in July 2015 and rebranded the campus into Raffles College. Today the Raffles Group of Schools has a total of 5 campuses located throughout the city of Jakarta.
