Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver effective English lessons tailored to the needs of Mandarin-speaking students
  • Support students in improving their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English
  • Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to engage students and enhance learning
  • Provide additional language support to help students access the mainstream curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and well-being
  • Foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
  • Teaching certification or EAL/TESOL qualification is preferred
  • Experience teaching English to non-native speakers, especially Mandarin-speaking students, is an advantage
  • Strong communication and intercultural skills
  • Passion for teaching and helping students succeed academically and personally
