Overview
Responsibilities:
- Teaching and learning activities for Economics in a high school using the Cambridge curriculum, National curriculum and Olympiads
- Teaching Economics as well as Head Teacher Business Streem
- Conduct lessons, co-curricular activities, curriculum reviews, examination setting, marking and moderation
- Create a syllabus and lesson plan
- Develop instruments and carry out student assessments
- Monitor and report student progress every month
- Deliver daily lessons in the class
- Complete administrative duties related to the role
- Participating in school activities
Requirements:
- Minimum S1 Bachelor’s Degree in Economics Education or related fields
- Minimum 2 years experience as a school teacher in teaching Economics for Secondary Level
- Having good and active English both written and oral skills
- Having good understanding of the Cambridge Curriculum is an advantage : IGCSE and Cambridge International AS & A Level
- Experiences in teaching Economics at formal school as a school teacher is an advantage
- Experiences as Head Teacher of Business Streem
- Able to manage the classroom to maintain an orderly learning environment effectively
- Delivering lessons to students and grading students assignments and exams
- Having eagerness to learn the good method of teaching
- Honest, diligent, conscientious, nimble and have good initiative and and mentally healthy
- Having good integrity as a teacher
- Willing to take part in the selection process
