Overview

Responsibilities:

  • The Preschool Chinese Language Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate Mandarin lessons to young children, fostering their interest in the language and Chinese culture
  • The teacher will support children’s overall development through play-based and interactive learning activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment

Requirements:

  • Passion in teaching
  • Patient, nurturing, and energetic personality
  • Creative, flexible, and able to adapt lessons based on children’s needs
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willing to participate in training, workshops, and school events
  • At least 1–2 years of teaching experience in a preschool or early childhood setting. Experience teaching Mandarin to non-native speakers is preferred
  • An active Chinese speaker
  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Chinese Language, Education, or a related field
  • Certification in teaching Mandarin as a foreign language is a plus (e.g., TCSOL, HSK, or similar)
