Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons for Primary students using Cambridge standards in a dynamic, Apple Distinguished learning environment
  • Deliver high-quality Primary Science lessons in alignment with the Cambridge Primary curriculum
  • Design lesson plans, activities, and assessments that promote curiosity, inquiry, and scientific thinking
  • Utilize Apple technology and digital tools effectively to enhance teaching and learning
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and academic support
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that supports student well-being
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams and academic staff to maintain high educational standards
  • Participate in school events, meetings, professional development, and parent engagement activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Primary Science or Primary classroom teaching
  • Proven experience teaching the Cambridge Primary curriculum is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of inquiry-based and student-centered learning approaches
  • Confident in integrating technology into classroom practice; experience in an Apple Distinguished School environment is a strong advantage
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Education, Science Education, or a related field
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about nurturing curiosity and fostering a love of learning in young students
