Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans for Senior High School Physics classes
  • Conduct engaging demonstrations, laboratory activities, and experiments to enhance students’ conceptual understanding
  • Teach fundamental principles and concepts in physics, including classical mechanics, waves, electricity, magnetism, and modern physics
  • Encourage scientific inquiry and critical thinking through problem-solving and real-world applications
  • Provide individualized support to students to reinforce learning and address misconceptions
  • Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, tests, and reports, and provide constructive feedback
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and integrate interdisciplinary learning
  • Support school programs and contribute to the overall academic development of students

Requirements:

  • Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Physics Education, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably at the Senior High School level
  • Experience teaching in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme is an advantage
  • Strong subject knowledge in physics and effective teaching methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills
  • Well-organized, responsible, and committed to professional growth
  • Creative, energetic, and passionate about teaching and learning
  • Demonstrates strong moral values and discipline
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
