Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver Mandarin language lessons that are interactive, challenging and aligned with the school’s curriculum
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their Chinese proficiency
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, encouraging their participation and fostering a love for the Mandarin language
  • Collaborate with the wider teaching team to ensure a consistent and high-quality education experience
  • Contribute to the development of Mandarin teaching resources and materials
  • Participate in professional development activities to continuously enhance your teaching skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mandarin language, education or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Mandarin language, preferably in a secondary school setting
  • Strong command of the Mandarin language, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students
  • Creativity and adaptability in designing and delivering engaging lesson plans
  • Passion for education and a commitment to supporting the academic and personal growth of students
