Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Sociology lessons for IGCSE & AS/A Level in alignment with the Cambridge curriculum
  • Design and implement lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials that foster critical thinking and sociological analysis
  • Utilize Apple technology and digital tools effectively to enhance teaching and learning experiences
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and academic guidance
  • Create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with academic teams to uphold high teaching standards and support school-wide initiatives
  • Participate in school events, meetings, professional development programs, and parent engagement activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Sociology or a related social science subject
  • Proven experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level Sociology
  • Strong understanding of Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) standards
  • Proficient in integrating technology into classroom instruction; experience in an Apple Distinguished School environment is a strong advantage
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Sociology, Social Sciences, Education, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about inspiring students and committed to continuous professional development
