Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the school curriculum and learning objectives
  • Create and maintain a positive, safe, and supportive classroom environment that encourages student learning and participation
  • The Homeroom Teacher will be responsible for teaching Bible, Leadership, and INT subjects (Indonesian Language and Civics/PKN)
  • Serve as the main mentor and point of guidance for students in the homeroom class, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development
  • Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress, behavior, and overall well-being
  • Provide regular feedback and reports on student development to parents and school management
  • Maintain effective communication with parents regarding students’ progress, behavior, and school-related matters
  • Collaborate with other teachers, coordinators, and school staff to support students’ learning and development
  • Participate in school programs, meetings, events, and professional development activities
  • Complete and maintain required teaching documentation such as lesson plans, student records, and other administrative tasks in accordance with school policies

Requirements:

  • Support MSCS Vision and Mission
  • Bachelor’s or Masters’s degree in PGSD or a similar field
  • Experience required minimum 1 year will be beneficial
  • Able to fluently speak English
  • Honest, teamwork, good communication skills, open-minded, resourceful, energetic
  • Experienced in teaching with Cambridge Curriculum is a plus
  • Will be based in Surabaya
