Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive lesson plans covering the curriculum for your subject area
  • Create a positive, supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth
  • Assess student progress through tests, assignments and other evaluation methods
  • Provide individualised support and guidance to help students overcome challenges
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops to stay up-to-date with educational trends
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate with parents as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of experience teaching in a middle school or high school setting
  • Strong command of the subject matter and ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills
  • Adaptability to different learning styles and ability to differentiate instruction
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and parents
  • Passion for educating and mentoring young minds
