About Global Jaya School

Established in 1995, Global Jaya School has a history of growth and positive change as well as offering a quality international education programme. The inaugural year accommodated 107 students, with three Early Year’s buildings, outdoor play areas, a swimming pool and use of a multi-purpose gymnasium. The curriculum was based on the national system of Indonesia and the Ministry of Education and Culture. During years 2004 to 2006, GJS established an international curriculum and worked diligently to become authorised by the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO). GJS is proud to offer the IB Continuum: Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma programmes. After more than 23 years, GJS has distinguished itself as a top IB World School in Indonesia and the region of S.E. Asia. We are a non-profit institution, strategically located in beautiful Bintaro Jaya which is close to the capital city, Jakarta. There are over 150 staff who are dedicated, professional and qualified educators, and together we serve nearly 900 students from 20 different nationalities.
