Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging educational activities for children aged 1.5-6 years
  • Providing individual attention and support to students to ensure their academic, social, and emotional needs are met
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Observing and documenting children’s progress and development
  • Communicating regularly with parents and families to provide updates on their child’s progress
  • Participating in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities
  • Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations and school policies

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Previous experience working as an assistant teacher or in a similar childcare role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in the local language and a good command of English
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is desirable
