Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Act as Homeroom teacher and respobsible for teaching ELA, Math, Social Studies, Science, and Bible
    class
  • Teach Upper Elementary

Requirements:

  • Current state or provincial issued teacher certification
  • Minimum of an undergraduate degree, Minimum of 5 years teaching/admin/business experience
  • Minimum of 3 years teahcing with a Master’s degree
  • Elementary teachers at BAIS do best when they excel in small group instruction and differentiated teaching to address diverse learning needs
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the American curriculum, emphasizing hands-on, collaborative, differentiated, and flexible teaching methods
  • Are familiar with Google Classroom as a learning management system and have experience with one-on-one Chromebook devices (or other similar learning management systems)
  • Have a knowledge of Standard Based Grading
