Fine Arts Teacher (International School)

Overview

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive art curriculum for secondary school students, covering a range of media and techniques
• Plan and facilitate engaging, hands-on art lessons that promote creativity, critical thinking, and technical skills
• Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support their artistic development
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art-based activities across the curriculum
• Organize and oversee art exhibitions, competitions, and other school-wide creative initiatives
• Maintain a safe and inspiring art classroom environment
• Attend faculty meetings and actively participate in the school community

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
• Prior teaching experience preferably in an international or private school setting is a plus
• Demonstrated expertise in a variety of art media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
• Passion for fostering creativity and nurturing the artistic growth of young learners
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
