Overview
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive art curriculum for secondary school students, covering a range of media and techniques
- Plan and facilitate engaging, hands-on art lessons that promote creativity, critical thinking, and technical skills
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support their artistic development
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art-based activities across the curriculum
- Organize and oversee art exhibitions, competitions, and other school-wide creative initiatives
- Maintain a safe and inspiring art classroom environment
- Attend faculty meetings and actively participate in the school community
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
- Prior teaching experience preferably in an international or private school setting is a plus
- Demonstrated expertise in a variety of art media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Passion for fostering creativity and nurturing the artistic growth of young learners
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
