Requirements:
- Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Bahasa Indonesia language, or any other relevant disciplines
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience including teaching children age 12 – 18
- Experienced in teaching (IB MYP and Diploma) and the Indonesian national curriculum for Bahasa Indonesia
- Possess native level of written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia language proficiency
- Good written and verbal communication in English and strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively liaise with internal and external parties
- Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office and Google Suite)
- Experience in the education industry, particularly in an international school setting
About British School Jakarta
The site comprises two sections: Primary (including Kindergarten) and Secondary (Junior, for twelve to fourteen-year-olds; and Senior, for fifteen to eighteen-year-olds).
The Primary and Secondary sections each house a Sports Hall and Libraries. Other facilities include a well-equipped Music Department; a state-of-the-art BSJ World Theatre; a Language Acquisition Centre; an olympic-size Swimming Pool with touch-pad time recording equipment; ample playing fields and Tennis Courts. All classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with air purifiers, LCD projectors, interactive whiteboards, and computers.
