Overview

Responsibilities:

  • The Specialist Learning Assistant (SLA) for Primary PHE will be required to have a strong foundation of knowledge, skills and understanding in Primary Education, alongside a specialism in Physical and Health Education (PHE)
  • The role involves supporting and enhancing the delivery of PHE lessons and activities, promoting active participation, physical development, and wellbeing of students
  • The SLA will support students to develop confidence, teamwork, and independence while helping to raise overall standards of achievement

Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience working within a school setting, sport coaching, or as a Learning/Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Teacher
  • Successful experience in the education industry, particularly supporting learning of students within the range of 3-11 years within an International setting
  • Good written and verbal communication in English and good interpersonal skills in order to effectively liaise with students and other parties
  • Good computer literacy (Learning Applications and Google Suite)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education
