Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Business Studies lessons aligned with the Cambridge Curriculum and the school’s educational vision and values
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and real-world application of business concepts
  • Assess, evaluate, and provide timely, constructive feedback on students’ work while maintaining accurate records of students’ progress and development
  • Monitor individual student performance and provide appropriate academic guidance and support
  • Communicate professionally and proactively with parents regarding students’ progress, concerns, or learning needs, offering guidance and recommendations where necessary
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery, interdisciplinary learning, and continuous school improvement initiatives
  • Serve as a role model by demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and the school’s core values in all aspects of teaching and interaction

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree or PhD in Economics, Business Studies, or a related field
  • Demonstrates a strong passion for teaching and a genuine love for working with students
  • Familiar with and experienced in delivering the Cambridge Curriculum (IGCSE / AS–A Level preferred)
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Possesses strong leadership qualities with a positive, professional, and approachable personality
  • Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Computer and technology literate, with the ability to integrate digital tools into teaching and learning
  • Committed to nurturing students’ academic excellence, character development, and critical thinking skills
  • Willing to actively contribute to the school’s mission, values, and professional learning community
