Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the overall operations of the institution, ensuring a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment for both students and staff
  • Develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and initiatives that enhance students’ academic, social, and personal development
  • Provide strong instructional leadership to faculty members, supporting their professional growth and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Oversee curriculum development, assessment practices, and educational programs to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Collaborate with stakeholders—including parents, teachers, and community members—to build positive relationships and support shared decision-making
  • Manage the school budget, resources, and facilities effectively, ensuring optimal utilization aligned with the institution’s goals
  • Lead and participate in school events, activities, and initiatives that promote school spirit, community engagement, and institutional pride

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification in Education or a related field
  • Minimum five years of teaching experience within an international curriculum
  • Minimum three years of experience in educational leadership or management
  • Strong understanding of UK or Western higher education systems, including the needs and requirements of international students
  • Direct experience in an international higher education context
  • Experience in academic assessment, standards, and quality assurance processes
  • Demonstrated cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop staff
  • Commitment to teamwork and effective resource management (both human and physical)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with fluency in English
  • Ability to review assessments across disciplines, including both formative and summative assessments
  • Competence in the effective use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to take initiative within curriculum and policy objectives
  • High attention to detail, fairness, and thoroughness in decision-making
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure, even with limited resources
