Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Teach junior high school students using engaging and student-centred approaches
  • Plan and deliver well-structured, differentiated lessons that support students’ different learning abilities
  • Prepare students for the next education level, ensuring the development of students’ academic and non-academic capabilities
  • Committed to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students in achieving their full potential
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing timely feedback and academic support
  • Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding students’ progress
  • Provide individual care and guidance to students
  • Participate actively in school programmes and extracurricular activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (S1) in product design, graphic design, or related field, from a reputable university
  • Preferable if familiar with Cambridge IGCSE Design and Technology (0445)
  • Available for part-time work in the academic year of 2026–2027
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students, inspiring and motivating them to reach high academic goals
  • Effective classroom management and organisational skills
  • Fluency in both English and Bahasa, both verbal and written
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Genuine passion in the field of education
  • Ability to work both individually and as a team
  • Familiarity with basic office software, online teaching tools, and digital classroom platforms
  • Experienced with hand-drawn and digital product design, arts and design, and graphic design. Has an understanding of working drawings for the plan of manufacture
  • Adept at using laser cutter, 3D printer, and various workshop equipment such as drills, saws, tools for cutting and joining resistant and non-resistant materials, etc.
