Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise swimmers and pool users at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment
  • Enforce pool rules, regulations, and safety policies consistently and professionally
  • Respond quickly and effectively to all emergencies, including rescues and administering CPR/first aid when needed
  • Conduct regular checks of pool facilities and equipment to ensure safety and cleanliness
  • Provide assistance and guidance to students and visitors regarding safe swimming practices
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, rescues, and safety checks
  • Support swimming lessons, school activities, or events as required
  • Report hazards, maintenance issues, or unsafe conditions promptly to management

Requirements:

  •  Lifeguard Certification
  • CPR and/or First Aid Certification
  • Water Rescue Training
  • Strong swimming skills and stamina (able to swim certain distances and tread water for a set time)
  • Good physical fitness and ability to respond quickly in emergencies
