Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for the implementation and continuous development of the Indonesian National Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka)
  • Drive academic excellence through high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment across all levels
  • Lead, mentor, and develop teaching staff to ensure outstanding instructional practices
  • Oversee curriculum planning, alignment, and review to ensure compliance with national regulations and alignment with international school standards
  • Establish and monitor robust assessment systems, using data to inform decision-making and improve student outcomes
  • Ensure full compliance with Indonesian regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Collaborate with the School Leadership Team to support whole-school strategy, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Build strong relationships with parents, government bodies, and external stakeholders
  • Promote a culture of “Academic Excellent + Good Character = Successful Individual” across the school

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree (minimum) in Education or a related field from a reputable institution
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in education, including substantial leadership role
  • Proven track record of delivering academic excellence and leading successful school improvement initiatives
  • In-depth knowledge of Kurikulum Merdeka, national education policies, and accreditation frameworks
  • Strong expertise in curriculum design, assessment, and data-driven school improvement
  • Experience working within an international school environment is highly desirable
  • Exceptional leadership, organisational, and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken)
  • Demonstrates high levels of professionalism, integrity, and adaptability in a dynamic, high-expectation environment
