Overview
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them to achieve their learning objectives
- Collaborate with the teaching team to create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Observe and monitor students’ progress, and communicate with parents and other stakeholders as needed
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and other school-wide initiatives
- Perform various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the classroom
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in early childhood education, Primary/ Elementary teaching degree, or a related field
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively
- Passion for education and a genuine desire to support the holistic development of young learners
- Proficient in the Indonesian and English languages

About North Jakarta Intercultural School
NJIS was founded in 1990 by Larry Bally and was the first international school in Kelapa Gading. In 2010, NJIS was merged with the Agung Podomoro Group. NJIS is a school for students in Preschool (ages 2) through Grade 12. The school is a member of the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS) and is accredited by the School Accrediting Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
