Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Mandarin language lessons that cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of students
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning and proficiency in Mandarin
  • Assess and provide feedback on student progress, adapting lesson plans as needed
  • Collaborate with the broader teaching team to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to language education
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practices
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students’ academic and personal growth

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mandarin or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Mandarin
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective Mandarin lessons
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Proficiency in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to teach in both languages
  • Enthusiasm for fostering a love of language learning and cultural appreciation in students
  • Adaptability and a willingness to continuously improve teaching practices
