Overview

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education with a focus on elementary Education or Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
  • Strong academic background in Mathematics
  • Graduates of PGSD  are welcome to apply
  • Possession of a valid teaching certificate or license, meeting state or regional requirements for elementary school teaching
  • Proficiency and expertise in mathematics to effectively teach and explain concepts to elementary students
  • Strong pedagogical skills and understanding of age-appropriate teaching methodologies
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans for diverse learning styles
  • Effective skills in managing classrooms for a positive and conducive learning environment
  • Ability to handle diverse student needs while maintaining a respectful and inclusive atmosphere
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to convey mathematical concepts clearly to young learners
  • Flexibility to adjust teaching strategies based on individual student needs
  • Willingness to use innovative and hands-on approaches to make mathematics engaging
  • Proficiency in designing assessments to gauge students’ understanding of mathematical concepts
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and use assessment data for instructional decisions
  • Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and a passion for instilling a positive attitude towards mathematics
  • Commitment to fostering a love for learning and problem-solving in students
