Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Familiar with delivering 3 (three) core subjects namely English, Mathematics, and Science
  • Design, facilitate and manage learning activities, assessments, classroom management and student engagement to create a safe and stimulating educational setting
  • Provide pastoral care and support the holistic development of students in grades 1 and/or 2, ensuring a nurturing atmosphere that promotes their intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth
  • Serve as a positive role model for students, upholding the school’s mission and maintaining high standards of professional conduct and ethics
  • Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and parents

Requirements:

  • An effective educator demonstrates clear communication, empathy, adaptability, teamwork, problem-solving, organization, resilience, and a commitment to continuous growth
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and/or relevant subject (English, Maths, Science)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience, preferably as the lead teacher, with at least 1 year in a comparable position (grade and subjects)
  • Experience with Cambridge curriculum
  • Experience in an international school setting
  • Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
  • Possessing knowledge and experience in differentiated learning
