Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, set, and deliver standards for learning
  • Prepare and support critical thinking for students in the classroom
  • Establish classroom management utilizing positive coaching
  • Observe and evaluate student’s performance and development
  • Understanding of academic, social, and behavioral needs and characteristics of high-level students
  • Establish links with the parent community to ensure that parents are kept well informed about student progress

Requirements:

  • Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature or English Language
  • Possesses strong experience with Lower Secondary English Checking OR Higher Elementary/Elementary grades
    High level of English proficiency required
  • Possesses at least 5 years of experience in teaching English (preferably English as First Language) for secondary students in private or international school
  • Experienced with international curriculum such as IB and Cambridge
  • Proven ability to develop successful academic programs
