Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Enthusiastically and diligently teaches required English material
  • Prepares objectives and outlines for courses of study following the scope and sequence of the curriculum
  • Uses a variety of teaching methods and assessment processes in consideration of students’ different learning styles, abilities, ESL needs, etc.
  • Establishes an effective classroom environment that is positive and orderly, attractive and hospitable
  • Provides feedback to students which enables continued improvement

Requirements:

  • Degree in education or an advanced degree in the English area
  • Strong demonstrable faith
  • A biblical worldview on Education
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia. Additional languages may be advantageous
  • Alignment with and commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Sekolah Pelita Harapan
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and intercultural skills
  • Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine passion for education and contributing to the development of students
  • Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development
