Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver German language of all levels, from beginner to advanced, using effective and engaging methods
  • Maintain a positive and organized learning environment, ensure participants engagement, and handle disciplinary issues professionally
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in German language teaching and adjust teaching methods to meet current educational standards
  • Adjust teaching and exam preparation for levels A1, A2, B1, B2

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in German language education or German literature
  • Proficient in spoken and written German at least at the B2 level
  • For teaching B1 and B2 Level (Onsite): Having C1 Certification / TestDaF with DaF teaching experience min. 5 years or Having B2 Certification with B2 DaF teaching experience min. 7 years
  • For teaching A1-A2 Level (Online): Having B2 Certificates with DaF (Deutsch als Fremdsprache) teaching experience min. 5 years
  • Preferable DaF Teachers from any German course institution
  • Ready to work outside the SGU Campus (Jabodetabek area)

Swiss German University (SGU) was established in 2000 as the first international university with an academic license recognized under Indonesian law.
