Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the British National Curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
  • Effectively assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Establish and maintain open and regular communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child’s progress and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities to  enhance teaching skills and stay abreast of educational trends
  • Support and promote the school’s values and ethos, modelling behaviour that aligns with its mission and policies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
  • Qualified teacher status or equivalent certification would be an advantage
  • Previous experience teaching in Early Years/Lower Primary settings, preferably with exposure to the British curriculum or similar international frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Skills in observation, assessment, and documentation of children’s learning progress
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
